MultiVisk™ EQUINE (Sodium Hyaluronate Injection) is a sterile, compounded preparation intended for veterinary use only.
This product is compounded by CDRX Pharmacy, a licensed pharmacy, pursuant to a valid prescription issued by a licensed veterinarian within an established veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR), in accordance with applicable federal and state laws governing pharmacy compounding.
This preparation is a compounded medication and has not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved drugs.
This preparation is compounded for individually identified animal patients when a prescribing veterinarian determines that the compounded preparation is appropriate for the medical needs of the patient and that an FDA-approved, commercially available alternative is not suitable. Compounding is performed in accordance with Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. § 353a) and applicable state pharmacy regulations governing traditional pharmacy compounding.
